Dozen Eggs

Fresh eggs from our backyard chickens. We have 7 happy hens that provide us with delicious, fresh eggs daily. These are the same eggs that get used in my challah!
There's no need to refrigerate fresh eggs! However, if you decide to wash them, they should be refrigerated afterwards.
Seasonal Update
No eggs in winter. Wait, what? You heard that right. Our hens stop laying when daylight hours shorten (as do most hens). Instead of artificially providing light and biologically tricking them into laying, we're giving them some well earned R&R. Check back in spring for fresh eggs from well rested hens!
