Traditional Challah
$10
Challah is a braided loaf traditionally made for the Jewish sabbath every Friday. It is slightly sweet, rich, and has the most wonderful texture- I'd describe it like a denser brioche. It is wonderful by itself when fresh and transforms with a little butter, salt, and/or honey drizzled on top. It also makes for great sandwich bread and french toast. Be sure to toast it after the first day.
Ingredients:Unbleached flour, filtered water, canola oil, eggs, honey, yeast, sea salt
